Who We Are?
Hi there! Simon and Tia here, the owners of WalkMate. It’s great to have you here. We started this business after both facing struggles with a lack of exercise and carrying some extra unwanted kilo’s.
We thought there had to be a more convenient, simple way to get moving, whilst juggling work, kids and general life!
Walking pad products became an interest for us as they did not take up much room, were simple to operate, and super convenient given you can use them in just about any room in the house.
Our intent with this site is to help Australian’s access quality ways to improve their lives through increased activity.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the WalkingPad's suitable for people over 6ft tall?
Although each person is different, we generally recommend that people over 6ft or 190cm tall look at the larger units such as the X21. This is due to the additional length of the walking mat which helps those with longer stride lengths avoid issues with hitting the front of the unit or their feet dropping off the back.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Usually the items will ship within 48 hours of order placement. Depending on your location, you will generally receive the order within 10 business days.
Where does my product ship from?
Right here in Australia! We stock a range of products, sourced from various locations around the world, and warehouse them locally to ensure you receive your products sooner.
The shipping costs seem high?
As couriers charge by both size and weight of packages, our walking pads incur what feels like a high price, if you compare this to small, every day items like clothing or shoes.
At WalkMate, we make nothing from the shipping and simply pass on what we’re charged by the freight companies. We’re continually working with our couriers to find the best rates for you!
What do I do if there is a problem with my order?
Send us an email to stepup@walkmate.com.au and outline what the issue is. Please include some photo’s if possible to help us understand the issue.
